Basic Keelboat Sailing (4 days)
Learn the fundamentals of sailing boats up to 30 feet including sail theory, terminology, boat handling, safety, basic chart work, Rules of the Road, man overboard, basic knots, safe docking procedures and more.

Basic Coastal Cruising (5 days)
Learn the fundamentals of coastal cruising during daylight hours including Rules of the Road, required equipment, engines and troubleshooting, weather observations, heavy weather, basic navigation, docking, anchoring, mooring and more. (Basic sailing required)

Bareboat Chartering (4 days)
This is an advanced course for those with cruising experience who want to be certified for bareboat chartering. It will include troubleshooting common problems, docking off the wind or down current, safety at sea, weather watching, navigation in limited visibility, planning landfall in adverse conditions, sail selection, handling and trim, electronics and navigation instruments and more. (Basic sailing and Basic Coastal Cruising required)

Coastal Navigation (2 days)
This is an intense course in charting and piloting which prepares you to navigate safely and confidently in all conditions of visibility. You will cover charts and symbols, Federal requirements for recreational boats, USCG navigation rules, tide and current tables, use of navigational tools and instruments, time, speed and distance calculations, relative bearings and running fixes, compass deviation and variation and more. (Basic sailing experience recommended)

Advanced Coastal Cruising (4 days)
Learn advanced procedures and requirements for coastal cruising of auxiliary sailing yachts for daylight and night time operation. Subjects include sail and rig theory, practice for day, night and heavy weather, seamanship, engineering, troubleshooting, safety, weather monitoring and interpretation.(Basic sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering and Coastal Navigation required)
